Kasa KP125 upgrade?
I need long term support, will be out of the country mostly, is the KP125 (V1) worth keeping going forward? I 'm ok to replace it with something newer.
Use the Kasa app only or any advantage to the Tapo app?
Interested in Home Assistant, will all the smart plugs be compatible?

Both Kasa and Tapo plugs offer equally reliable remote management as long as your network connection is stable. When choosing between them, I'd suggest picking based on your preferred features rather than reliability concerns.
One important note: neither brand supports integration with Home Assistant or other open-source third-party platforms.

Is it possible to upgrade or change the switch, use the current Wi-Fi settings saved in the cloud without having to connect to the Wi-Fi locally again?
