Tapo devices disconnect from Google Home
Tapo devices disconnect from Google Home

Every day now for the last week or so, I have to relink Tapo to my Google Home app... when Tapo unlinks from Google, no Tapo devices work from Google Home, but they are all available in the Tapo App.
I have done all the usual trouble shooting... all my Tapo device firmwares are up to date and the Tapo App is up to date. Google Home is also up to date.
Please help.

Hopefully TPLink/ Tapo are aware of this... I suspect a software update... I am enrolled as a Beta tester for Tapo and Home, maybe unwisely... are you also?

@BPCS no i am not involved in beta. Just a new Android user. I also hope TP-Link can do something about it. its not the first time this problem showed up.

I've just set up my Tapo plugs to automatically reboot my router and mesh points once every day early in the morning... that will be better than waiting for the inevitable frustration at some stage of the day of Hey Google commands being followed by "Device is off line".
Hopefully this will be enough and I won't have to set it up to reboot everything twice a day.

Also having the same issue. Only started a few days ago.
Relinking fixes it temporarily but it is happening daily.
No issues prior to this

Hopefully TP Link will be at work tomorrow and able to look into this issue for all of us... in the meantime, if someone arrives here looking for help, please add your name via a short post here... the more the better for a chance of help.
I forgot to add that I am using a Google Nest Pro as my router, and with another Nest Pro as a point to create a mesh.

@Wayne-TP thanks Wayne for the quick resolution! I've just followed the steps as it had disconnected again today. I'll let you know if any further issues after a day or so.
