It happens on both outdoor cameras and the doorbell camera. It is typical of automatic audio activation recording that relies on detecting sound above a threshold to activate audio output. As the volume level of, say, people speaking fluctuates, the audio cuts in and out as their voices go above and below the threshold. It’s commonly used to reduce background static noise on recordings. However, I’d like the option to enable the microphone permanently. I’ll tolerate the static when all is quiet.
