Unable to connect old printer to WiFi
I purchased a Deco X50 3 unit system a few weeks ago. I no longer need my old router - instead I was able to get it working by connecting the main unit directly to the BT modem.
So far i've successfuly connected all my devices except an old Epson BX625FWD printer.
I've tried connecting via WPS and manually - in both cases I get this error:
*Multiple network names (SSID) that match your entered network name (SSID) have been detected. Confirm network name (SSID).
*A router/access point channel conflict has been detected. If you have problems printing or scanning improve your wireless network,
When I try connecting manually, I can actually see the SSID appearing multiple times in the list of networks.
I was able to connect by turning off 2 of the units - however that defeats the purpose of a mesh system! When I turned the other units on again, the connection fails.
I found another thread with a similar problem connecting to an Epson printer. That user fixed their problem by changing from router mode to AP mode. However, given I'm connecting directly to the modem, is that an option for me?
What can I try?
