Provider switch and AXE5400 doesnt work with new provider TV Box

Switched broadband provider from Virgin Media to EE using TPLInk AXE5400.
Unfortunatley the TPLInk AXE5400 doesnt work out of the box, save for BT PPPOE credentials.
I suspect it's something down to multicast but other than enabling IGMP Proxy, Snooping and Wireless Multicast Forwarding on the router that's the limit of my technical experience so after some help otherwise I'll be forced to use EE router.

Hi,
Here is a link to EE's instructions for "Using and configuring a third-party router".
https://ee.co.uk/help/broadband/getting-started/using-and-configuring-a-third-party-router
Note that in case you use EE's "Fibre Broadband" (that's the type of fibre that uses copper wires for the last section to your home), then in addition to entering the correct PPPoE credentials you also need to enable VLAN on the Archer AXE75 and enter a Internet VLAN ID of "101".

Ok, so you have the Archer AXE75 connected to a box that has the word "Openreach" printed on it?
Then according to EE's instructions you should only need to configure a PPPoE connection with username "bthomehub@btbroadband.com" and password "BT" (or blank). That should be all.
The only suggestions I'd have for you is to power cycle the Openreach box and to reset the Archer AXE75 to factory default settings (to revert any forgotten settings that may have been adjusted previously, but are now interfering) and then configure it again.

Thanks @woozle
I think I have Full Fibre so it's just username and password, I cant find anything CHAP related on the routers search and DNS is set to auto but still multicast issues.
There's nothing in the logs to suggest anything is being blocked so not sure what else to try?
