Hello,

I would like to purchase Tapo S112. I have a Tapo L535E and I would like to turn a light bulb on and off using S112. I have a mechanical switch and I would connect it to S1 and S2 and when the state changes, the L535E light bulb would turn on/off via automation.
I would use a Tapo S210, but I don't like the look of it. So I would like to use a classic switch and connect it somehow...

Is it possible and if so how to connect it? If it is correct to connect S1 and S2 to the switch, no power would go to it at all and only S112 would turn on and off. O1 and O2 would be empty because I would use automation.

Thank you

Make sure your wiring is done correctly. You can leave the O1 and O2 empty, but cannot skip other steps. Refer to the video in this article to double-check the wiring. How to install Tapo Smart Switch Module (Tapo S112)

When the wiring is done and the device is set up correctly, convert the switch to Wireless Switch mode on the Tapo app: Device Settings > Switch to Wireless Switch.
