I recently bought this WiFi card to plug into my desktop. However, when it is inserted into the correct slot, it automatically shuts off my entire computer, and the computer will not turn back on again until the adapter is removed. Everything seems to work fine on the computer itself besides this issue. Please advise.

Hi,

You are inserting the Wi-Fi card while the computer is powered off, right?

At what point does the computer automatically shut off? Already when the computer does its initial system check (BIOS) or while loading Windows or at a later time?
