Model: Archer TBE552E
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 5.3.0.1781

This morning, I cannot connect to the internet with my main computer. I have just installed a new router (Archer BE550) and put a new Wifi adapter (Archer TBE552E) on the computer last week. Both Wifi 7, both easy to install, connected them together on the 6Ghz band and everything was peachy.

There must have been an update during the night because this morning, no internet. I looked in the Windows system place and I see that the TP-Link Wifi 7 PCIe Adapter is not working saying "This device is not working properly because Windows cannot change the drivers required for this device. (Code 31)". Also, I cannot restore the driver.

Point to note, The TP-Link Bluetooth adapter is working fine. And of course I can't update anything because I have no Wifi now. Also, I think my Hardware version is V1 (or V2?) I can't seems to find it in Windows.

Can someone please help me ? Am I the only one ?

Hi,

Have you already tried restarting Windows? (I mean a true restart of Windows, not just using the power button to shut the computer off)

You can also test what happens if you disable and then re-enable the Wi-Fi adapter in the Device Manager of Windows. Sometimes this helps.
