I bought the Smart WiFi door lock and only charged the device’s battery once, which was during the installation, and everything has worked correctly since then. However, when I received the low battery warning, I tried charging the battery again using the same cable and in the same way I did the first time, but the battery won’t charge. I also tried with different cables and adapters, but the battery still doesn’t charge, and I don’t know what else to do to charge my device’s battery, and it keeps draining more and more.

Did the LED indicator on the battery light up during charging? Double-check whether the adapter is a 5V 2A output.

 

Try to remove the battery, then power the door lock directly through its USB-C port, and check if the door lock functions correctly in this case. If it does, then the problem is likely with the battery. In this case, i would recommend requesting a replacement for the battery. To proceed with the warranty, contact the local TP-Link support
