Hello,

I am using several KE100 radiator thermostats connected via Matter to Home Assistant. Everything is visible, and I can normally control the devices.

Problem:

When the thermostat is in Frost Protection mode and I try to set a new target temperature (e.g. 23 °C) via Home Assistant, Alexa or Siri, the command does not work.

• The thermostat stays in Frost mode.
• If I manually switch to Heat mode, it restores the previous heating setpoint (not the new one).
• Only after switching to Heat first, I can then adjust to the desired target temperature.

Expected behavior:

Other TRVs I used in the past automatically switched from Frost to Heat when setting a higher target temperature. The KE100 should directly activate heating with the newly requested target temperature.

Question:

• Is this a known limitation of the current firmware/Matter implementation?
• Can you confirm if this behavior will be fixed in a future update?
