Hi! I have a small issue that I cannot figure out. I have a Tapo doorbell and recently installed a Tapo smart bulb outside my house. I set up a schedule for the bulb to turn on at 30% brightness around 18:00 and turn off around 5:30. Everything works perfectly with the schedule.

However, I decided to add an automation so that when the Tapo doorbell detects a person during the same hours as the schedule, the bulb turns on at 100% brightness for 30 seconds. The problem is that after those 30 seconds, the bulb turns off completely instead of returning to 30% brightness according to the schedule.

How can I make it go back to 30% brightness after detecting a person, and still turn off automatically at 5:30 as p

lanned?

Think you need to change the automation a bit please keep in mind I don't have a Tapo camera or doorbell to test this

Im assuming you used Then for the following "100% brightness for 30 seconds."

You should add a 2nd Then to set the bulb back to 30%

You might have to add a Delay between the first Then statement and the 2nd Then statement

Need help with the Deco app, setup, Ethernet backhaul, network switch or rolling back firmware? Router or AP mode? https://community.tp-link.com/us/home/forum/topic/699816?page=1

That is a very good idea! I totally forgot that I can add a delay between actions. I will give it a try today! I am also curious if I can make the light slowly brighten up to 100% and then slowly dim back down to 30%. Let's test it out!
