I have just purchased and set up the Deco X 50 mesh system at home. It seems to work well, I had expected to be able to turn off the Wi-Fi signal either to the whole system or to individual units. This doesn't seem to be a feature which is not very energy efficient as I don't need all the Wi-Fi on overnight. I thought this had to be a feature in the European Union? Also I'd like to keeps the kids off the WiFi at night and blocking random MAC addresses is just too cumbersome. It would be great to find out if there is a solution to this. I may have to return the units and go with a different manufacturer if TPlink don't have this as a feature.
