Speed of automation?
Hi there,
I have set up a process whereby if my doorbell senses movement between sunset and sunrise it switches on a L630 spotlight located in the porch (located above the doorbell) for 3 minutes - however the lag between the doorbell sensing movement and turning on the light is too much (>5 seconds) for this to be a practical solution.
Is there anyway to speed this up? If I use the app to turn on the light manually it is instant, so I don't believe it is a WIFI speed issue.
Thanks

@Wayne-TP Thanks for the tip but unfortunately none of them helped. It is a strange one, as the doorbell immediately senses movement and the light will immediately turn on manually through the app, however, the doorbell can't get the bulb to immediately turn on. Both bulb and doorbell have a strong connection to the WIFI (as does the Hub H200).

What's the device signal strength (RSSI rate) of the doorbell and the L630 bulb?
How many devices do you have on the router's 2.4GHz WiFi? You may want to check the number of 2.4GHz devices currently connected to your router, verify if it exceeds or is close to the recommended limit for the 2.4GHz. WiFi devices' performance might be affected if the WiFi channel is crowded or even overloaded.
Try to change the 2.4GHz WiFi channel to 1, 6, or 11, see if there's any improvement.

@Wayne-TP Doorbell is -54 and light is -57. As previously mentioned, both respond/work immediately through the app so I assume the wifi signal is not the issue. Thanks anyway.
