Model: Deco X50
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version:

Why you can't enable the manual channel selection feature?

It's really hard to use auto selections of channel in  so much dense area like Bangladesh.

Please enable this feature on deco x50 v1.30. If i knew that tp link taking this step i wouldn't buy any tplink's router. I bought it from india & there is no chance to exchange the product in Bangladesh.

You people wasted my money.

By taking this kinda annoying steps without thinking about the customer's choice tplink will loose the loyal customers.

@Rassel120 Deco units which are available in Bangladesh and Pakistan are region based and they can support 5 GHz channels acording to country rules and regulations and Deco can change and select best channels automatically after reboot or by using Network Optimization feature in Deco App.

Please & Thank You !! ❤️

I mentioned that i bought it from india so there shouldn't be restrictions on the firmware. And stop telling that auto selection the best channel for my network that kind of illogical things. It's feel like tp link scammed us, we are asking a feature which is actually needed. If they can't enable the feature then they refund us our money. The choice should be ours not tp links or any ai to choose channel is best for us & if tp link choose the best for us then they should disable all the deco users who are able to enjoy that feature by buying the the deco.

@Rassel120 Hmmm TP-LINK is not focusing on this hardware version idk why @SayeemAhmed is also using same hardware version V1.30 and he is complaining since many years. Let me tell you one thing Bangladesh support 5 GHz channels 149, 153, 157 and 161 on 80 MHz and if your Deco start using channels 36, 40, 44 and 48 so your devices could'nt detect 5 GHz WiFi on Android because Android is country restricted.

Please & Thank You !! ❤️

  @Rassel120

Hi, please view the discussion here:

https://community.tp-link.com/en/home/forum/topic/845490?replyId=1624730

Channel Selection was not an advertised feature in the original product offering of Deco X50. The implementation of new features is subject to a formal development and testing lifecycle. Archer EasyMesh routers support Channel Selection, and it would be a more appropriate choice if Channel Selection is highly urgent. The Deco WiFi 7 models have also added channel selection if you prefer Deco Mesh.

If you need any assistance with replacement/return/refund, the local service center can provide you with better service:

Thank you very much.

Best regards.

Channel selection feature doesn't need to advertise before selling cause everyone knows it'll be there but first time i saw this kinda annoying things from a company like tplink. Local supporting team aaying they can't help with anything, you people telling us to go local support team. Is it some kind of joke. Why you selling a product where you unable to provide any support.
