3x Tapo L630 keeps turning on and blink after trying reset
Model: Tapo L630
Hardware Version: 1.0
Firmware Version: 1.1.2 Build 240829 Rel. 172838
My problem is same as discussed here: Tapo L630 keeps turning on
I have 4x L630 smart bulbs install in the kitchen ceiling. They share the same switch on the wall. The switch is always ON. The 4 bulbs have their own name as "Kitchen light one", "Kitchen light two" ..., and there is also a group called "Kitchen light" which includes all the 4 bulbs. I often use the group name with Alexa and/or Google to turn ON/OFF all the 4 bulbs at the same time. There are no away mode, automation or schedule in my settings.
About 2 weeks ago, Bulb #2 started to randomly turn itself on. Sometimes, in the morning I walked to the kitchen and saw Bulb #2 was ON while the others were OFF. I then tried to reset Bulb #2 to factory setting but after than it blinks continuously when powered on (at a frequency about 1 blink per second). This blink is different from the blink from normal factory reset (which show quicker blink of white light). In the Tapo app, I can not find the bulb in the network.
I suspected that it is a fault. So I bought a new L630 replacement. Strangely, 2 days after I installed the new bulb, Bulb #3 showed same behavior, i.e. turning itself ON, and blinking constantly after I tried to reset.
I thought maybe both bulbs are about to die since they have been used for 2 years. I then use another NEW L630 to replace Bulb #3. But today this new bulb started to turn itself ON. This bulb has only been used for less than 2 days!
Interestingly, I Googled and found that these bulbs have 2 year warranty, and my original Bulb #2 and 3 have just passed their warranty period...
