  @Kiroslavov

Maybe not for you, but for me it is working!

See screenshots of my working! setup:

And as I wrote awhile ago: KE100/ KE110 support in Tapo App is account related, TP Link support has made some "special" settings to my account. So I have the Thermostate option in the add devices menu in Tapo app under Kasa devices, as you can clearly see in my provided screenshots.

I also have another TP Link ID and there's also no support for Kasa Thermostats in Tapo app, when I logged in with this account.

@Jebeyer so they do not work. You have some special account which is very far away from the typical account that 99.9% of the users have.

I can always only speaking for me. After KE100 support disappeared in Tapo app, simply opened a ticket to TP Link technical support (Germany) about this issue. Then they made some "special" settings to my account. And without any reinstalling of the Tapo app, Thermostats button reappeared in Tapo app (no Beta or Trial, "Stock" version via Play Store)

Hi @Jebeyer!

Thank-you for clarifying that. I didn't see you mention your special account privileges before. It's interesting to know that the "stock" hardware/firmware and app software are all already fully compatible with the KASA valves and thermostat.

It seems a very strange marketing decision to not enable it for everyone. I can only speculate that TP-LINK are trying to ligitamize carrying on with the KASA brand, when clearly it could be made redundant at the flick of a switch on a TAPO customer's profile.

If anything, this makes me less likely to invest in the KASA products than before. I suspect the KASA brand/products will be discontinued, whilst the TAPO brand will continue to expand and develop. I imagine that sooner or later, there will be TAPO heating valves too. But if TAPO leaves it too late (or fails to allow everyone to use the KASA products), we will have already bought another company's products. And once we have started to invest in another manufacturer's Smart eco-system, TAPO will lose out on further product sales.

Anyway, thanks again for your posts. They really were very interesting.

It would have been useful if @Wayne had been more forthcoming about this situation instead of the replies which he actually posted - which I didn't find at all helpful.

Either he knew the full story and wouldn't say, or he didn't know and wouldn't find out. Not good either way.

And despite asking him twice (and very clearly), I'm still none the wiser as to what new features were introduced in the H100 Beta firmware in June 2025!

Using Tapo H100 v1.0 FW 1.6.2 Build 250624 Rel. 145625 (Beta)

Tapo App Version 3.15.112

4x KE100 v1.2 FW 2.10.0 Build 240305 Rel.113521

4x KE110 v1.0 FW 1.1.0 Build 250225 Rel.192437

KE100 and KE110 are also working with Tapo H100(EU)_V1_1.5.23 Build 241106 (latest Release FW), but binding KE100 with KE110 fails. So with this FW KE110 can only work standalone with H100.

With H100 1.6.2 Build 250624 Rel. 145625 (Beta) TP Link has also fixed this issue and now KE110 binding feature is working correctly.

You can get H100 Beta FW here

Note: there is no (official) mention about KE110 support in this Beta FW and this release (official) add only a fix for local smart rules support.

And this only works if your account has the "right" settings applied by TP Link support team, if not Thermostate Button (under add devices Kasa) in Tapo App is "hidden".
