The Tapo hub, paired with door/window sensors, is great for creating a home alarm system.

The downside is that you need a phone connected to your Tapo account to control it.

The problem is that if you want to give someone access to the alarm, you also have to give them access to the account, and therefore to the cameras and everything else. This is inconvenient because the alarm automation can't be shared.

A remote control that can be worn on a keychain, like a traditional alarm, would be a major improvement.

It could include a few customizable buttons to activate or deactivate automations.
