When can we have Tapo Smart Door Lock for Europe?
Hello Tapo,
This Black Friday, I discovered your DL110 model, and since I love the Tapo ecosystem, I was thrilled by the feature set and all possibilities in Tapo app.
When I watched the how-to-install videos, I started wondering, then I went to my door in my house, as per the photo, and my heart was crushed.
It's physically impossible to mount the DL110, even if you circumvent the issue of not being adapted to the Euro-standard lock, there is still the issue of the keyboard, that unless you mount it upside down, but then the keyboard will also be upside down, clearly a design bug, for us Europeans.
I hope it is easy for your Engineering team to understand the blunder, on the DL110 model being incompatible with ALL European house doors.
I fully understand that TP-Link is a US company, and may start delivering first to the US market.
So, when can we expect TP-Link to launch their Smart Lock for European doors and our Euro-standard lock (as per the photo)?
