It won’t turn on
It won't turn on anymore
just got it and it turned on and I left it on for a little while the app installed (I later realised i shouldn't have left it rolled up and turned on)
and I am worried I have either burnt it out for it has just stopped working

Double-check the connection between the controller and the light strip. The controller interface has an arrow symbol marked on one side, the front of the LED strip needs to be aligned with this arrow marking.
Try a different power outlet. Make sure the controller and the light strip are tightly connected. You can try resetting the LED strip to see if it responds: press and hold the controller button for about 10 seconds.
If the light strip still won't turn on, then it's time to get a replacement. You may contact the retailer or local TP-Link support.
