I have quite a few HS100 smart plugs. Due to availability and price, if I purchase any more smart plugs I will get the Tapo's.
Can anyone say what the pros and cons are of changing the app I use?

I have installed the Tapo app to try, the devices now show in the Tapo app linked to the Kasa app. Can I/should I uninstall the Kasa app and will I lose the linked devices or will they continue to work.
I understand I will have to link the Tapo app to Alexa, which isn't a problem.

Thanks for the reply.
I had checked the FAQ's but it didn't say if removing the Kasa app after setting up the Tapo app would cause any issues.
Am I correct in assuming all the settings are help in the ID account rather than the app  therefore deleting the kasa app (not the account) would be OK?

The devices are bound to your TP-Link ID, they won't be removed when you uninstall the Kasa app.
