Firmware Version: 1.0.15

It would be nice to have an additional option in the "On from Power Source" options for smart bulbs (specifically KL125 but I'm sure others as well) that allows the bulb to power up to the opposite "ON" state. This would allow someone to toggle the state of the light by turning a physical switch on the lamp/wall off and back on. I feel this would provide a better user experience by allowing more control over the bulb without having to interact with a phone/computer while ultimately allowing the bulb to stay online, except for a brief outage while the bulb restarts.

Sorry, I’m not quite sure what you’re suggesting here. Do you want the bulb to remember its last state when the power comes back (like staying off if it was off before)? Or are you hoping to control the bulb through both a physical switch and the app?

If you are referring to the latter, that is unfortunately not possible, as the smart bulb has no alternate power source. So when you turn it off at the switch, its power is completely cut off. This means it goes offline and cannot be controlled or turned back on through the app.

@Wayne-TP The idea is sort of both. What I would like is to have the bulb remember power state (already seems to remember colour state) when it loses power so that when it powers back up you have the option to power up to the opposite state (power up in an off state if the bulb was previously on and vice versa) so that you can cycle a physical switch (off then back on) to toggle the power state of the bulb. Also having the option to simply have the bulb power up in an off state (I recognize this couldn't happen at the same time as my previous suggestion) if it loses power, like you suggested, so all your lights don't turn on after a power outage would be nice.

Thanks
