I would like to request that the user get given the option to enable 24/7 continues recording on all camera type. 

I don't see why this is not a feature despite how the device is powered.  this should be something that a user has control over and not the camera manufacture. 

Add a disclaimer that the user has to read and agree to when enabling the option, so there for this covers you from the people who would want to complain about the battery life. 

Adding this over other brands I would imagine be a big selling point. 

People who are educated around these draw backs who want longer battery life, would make up their own solutions for the power draw. 

You could even then add extended battery modules that allow solar input as an additional kit accessory.
