Chat GPT suggests the reason my Eufy Homebase won't connect when plugged directly into modem router is to do with DHCP settings and maybe a firewall

blocking the connection

Any thoughts ?

Hi, welcome to the community.

Is your modem router Deco X50-DSL_1.0.4 Build 20240103 Rel. 64294?

Do you have any other satellite Deco units?

I don't think it is due to the Firewall settings. Have you tried to plug the Eufy Homebase into different Ethernet ports on the main Deco X50-DSL?

Would there be a wired laptop? Can it get internet access through the same Ethernet connection?
