Firmware update for Deco X73-DSL (2026)`
I understand that a new firmware, version 1.1.0 Build 20250919 Rel. 20831 is available in beta and has been offered to some users.
This has apparently been ready to finalise and release for months. Why has this not been done? People have been following up for an update since 2023 (I couldn't add to the older threads, which had closed).
What's the reason for the delay please?

Hi, thank you very much for the feedback.
I've reported the request to the local web support. Currently, you can download the latest 1.1.0 Build 20250919 here:

Best regards.

@David-TP thank you for that. My X73 is remote from where I normally live so I depend on updating firmware via the app. It's not showing as available in the app here in Australia.
The main issue I had with the old firmware is that the X73 can "lose" clients on the network map. The clients remain connected, but the X73 can't tell which mesh node they're connected to. So they get listed as "unknown deco" under the X73's own client list. I wonder if that was fixed.

Hi, thank you very much for the update.
I see the 1.1.0 version hasn't been 100% released. Currently, if the local upgrade is not an option, we can still wait for the Deco App firmware notification.
The firmware release notes are:
Enhancement:
1. Added support for HTTPS firmware downloads via CDN.
2. Added DSL-related privacy log support.
Modifications and Bug Fixes
1. Fixed DNS resolution issues that could occur when ISP provides only one DNS server.
2. Fixed IPv6-related issues.
3. Improved compatibility with Tapo temperature sensors for history record uploads.
4. Enhanced network access control during device setup process.
5. Fixed network connection status detection in EWAN mode during setup.
6. Improved overall security and stability.
Notes
1. This firmware can not be degraded to the previous version.
There seems to be no optimization to the online client status. For the reported issue, have you tried to disable "Mesh Technology" and "Fast Roaming" on the Deco App>More>Advanced:

@David-TP thanks. I've never enabled Fast Roaming owing to the warnings about compatibility in the user guide. I don't want to disable Mesh Technology though - I need that!
Ironically the last time the X73 "lost" a couple of clients and listed them under "Unknown Deco", those clients were both TP-Link products. A Tapo P300 power board and a Tapo C110 camera.
It doesn't seem to stop the unit operating properly, and a reboot fixes it straight up. I'll see if the new firmware fixes it. Otherwise it's more an issue for you than me!
I've previously requested an AU firmware to enable the full range of wifi channels and transmission power, so the X73 won't be holding back the X50 (US) mesh points I connect to it. But I'll probably die before that happens!

I have both a X73-DSL and an X95. The X95 is the main router and the X73-DSL is an Access point with hardwired ethernet backhaul.
My deco app reports that the X73-DSL has an available update for 1.1.0 Build 20250919 (current version 1.0.12 Build 20240517). However, each time I go through the process of downloading and updating the firmware through the app, it says it was successfully updated, once the X73-DSL has rebooted, it still shows at version 1.0.12 Build 20240517 and the upgrade is apparently available again. I have tried this multiple times with no resolution.

Hi, thank you very much for the feedback.
You should be able to find the LAN IP address on the satellite Deco X73-DSL on the Deco App.
It is recommended to log in to its individual web UI via this address to manually upload the 1.1.0 firmware:

Wait for your reply.
Best regards.
