I have been using the C460 and other cameras as trail cameras for predator control in new zealand.
The 4k resolution, starlight sensor and AI detection, solar panel and weather protection make this camera ideal for this task.

New Zealand needs better tools to achieve its Predator Free 2050 program, with a (bit) of work, this camera and its upgrades would make a huge differnce. We would purchase thousands.

Can you please consider
* Improving control over illumination - bats come out on sunset, switching from day time to night time means poor exposures either side.
* AI classification of PESTS in particular rats, possums, cats, hedgehogs, mice, mustilids (ferrets, stoats, weasels) goats,  deer, wallaby
* AI classification of Taonga species (good) Kiwi, Parrots, Weka, Lizards, native bats.
* Optimise for low or zero network environment (nz bush and forest)

in summary - help us to develope an image recognition library for the C460 and others that is specific to NZ conservation

Ability to turn on camera for longer periods via external triggers (eg flash of light, sound) allowing us to record trap events that are currently missed.
Ability to trigger external device (even by sound or LED flash) allowing us to use lora or similar comms in deep forest situations on notification (eg Kiwi spotted)

The C460 hardware has proven itself very capable in our field tests as a trail cam. A little colaboration with our predator control teams would turn this into the must have trail camera solution.
