Model: KE100 KIT
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 2.10.0

I cannot find the answer to this simple question in the user guide or searching online.
When the KE100 is on it opens and closes the radiator valve depending on the set temperature. This is the purpose of it.
When it is turned off, What does that mean?
Does it close the radiator valve stopping the water flow and "turning the radiator off"?

Does it turn the KE100 off and open up the radiator valve?
Does it turn off the KE100 and the valve remains in the current position letting the water flow or not depending what it was currently doing?
Thank you in advance for your help.
Any reference to where it is detailed in the user manual etc will also be appreciated.

When the KE100 is turned off, the valve does not close completely. To prevent freezing, frost protection is automatically activated, maintaining your radiator’s internal temperature above a set minimum (configurable in the app, with a lower limit of 5°C) and protecting your pipes.

If you need to close the valve fully, enable the KE100’s Summer mode and set it to Fully Closed.
