Model: Tapo DL100  
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.0.15

My DL100 will unlock and lock through the app. It will also auto lock. But it won't unlock with the master pin or a one time pin. I have reset the lock and readded it in the app but it didn't change the behavior. I have confirmed I am on the most current firmware and it obviously is connected to my WiFi ok based on the unlock/lock in the app. It has brand new fresh batteries.  I also have turned off the failed attempt pin lock out feature without any change. Help?

Please make sure the door lock has been factory reset correctly -- press and hold the RESET button for 10s. Verify whether the fingerprint recognition functions correctly.

 

Create a new PIN code and check whether it appears correctly in the list of saved profiles, if it does, try to unlock with the new code immediately, see if that works.
