Wlan von der 4.Etage in den Keller
Hallo zusammen,

Hello @HKaufmann ,
Welcome to our community.
To clarify: The TL-PA4010P devices are pure powerline adapters without Wi-Fi capability; they only extend the wired network connection over the electrical wiring. To have Wi-Fi in the basement, your approach of connecting a separate Wi-Fi router (TL-MR3020) in AP mode is fundamentally correct.
Before using the TL-MR3020, confirm that the second TL-PA4010P can connect normally to the first TL-PA4010P (the one connected to the Vodafone router) in the basement.
If network access can be obtained from the second TL-PA4010P after testing other wired devices, further verification is needed to confirm whether the TL-MR3020 is correctly configured in access point mode: How to Configure the Access Point Mode on the TL-MR3020 and TL-MR3040
Best Regards.
