Model: KE100 KIT
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 2.15

I have a system consisting of six Kasa KE100 Smart Thermostats, one KH100 Hub, and one T310 Temperature Sensor. All devices are running the latest firmware.

At approximately 06:30 yesterday morning, the reporting function stopped working on all six KE100 thermostats. Since then, no thermostat data has appeared in the historical graphs within the app. However, the T310 Temperature Sensor continues to report normally, and its data is visible and updating correctly.

I have already carried out the basic troubleshooting steps:

  • Retarted the KH100 hub
  • Restarted my router.
  • Restarted each of my TP-Link Deco mesh units.

I am not accessing the system remotely; my phone and the KH100 Hub are on the same local network.  However, following the guidance in your support articles, I also tested access over both Wi-Fi and 4G by disabling Wi-Fi on my phone.

In all cases, I can successfully control the thermostat set points, and I can hear each thermostat responding to the changes. The app also displays the current live temperature from each KE100, indicating that communication with the devices is working correctly.

In summary, the system appears to be functioning normally in every respect except for historical reporting. The thermostats continue to operate and report their current status, but no historical data is being recorded or displayed in the graphs.

Any help in further troubleshooting would be appreciated.

  @blazehelm

For me the same. I've got 6 x KE100 and a KH100 as hub. Suddenly, in the night, recording of temperature has stopped.

I can access and controll al KE100 with my mobile. It doesn't matter if I'm connected in my WiFi or using LTE: it works.

I have restarted my router, the hub, have even reset the hub and have connected al KE100 once again.... Nothing is working...

All my componentes have the lates Firmware.

I hope, somone of the support can help...

I've the same issue with my setup of one KH100 hub + 4x KE100.

No temperature history is available since yesterday. In the kasa app it displays an error about "unstable network" when trying to view the recent history data for any of my 4 valves. But past data can still be viewed.

On the other hand, I have also KE110 room sensor/control unit which is still working fine and showing the temperature and humidity reports.

Maybe it's just a cloud/server side issue?

Hopefully someone can do something to get it fixed soon.

Hmm, three of us with the same issue. Looks like a server issue I guess. Would be nice to see a reply from TP-Link confirming this.

  @blazehelm same here. This has worked perfectly for months. Suddenly Wednesday evening 1800 BST (ie 1700 GMT) the reports stopped. Well I have continuous graphs on all thermostats until that exact time. Same kit as you.
Have restarted device and router. Restarted app. Phone off and on. This is within house on same WiFi.
it was pretty hot at that time in the house/country (30C +) but nothing else out of the ordinary.
been a few days now with no reports. And to confirm as others say, I can still read and control the devices, only the reports are misbehaving.

  I have the same problem. Temperature reports don't work any more on KE100 ("network unstable"). Reports on KE110 are working furthermore.

  @Wayne-TP

Seems that it's working again! In my certain case, I retrieve data once again.

This problem seems to be solved. Temperature history is working on my KE100s again.
