Hi, I recently bought a HS100 smart plug to use with Alexa. It is set up and controllable from iPhone 4s but local wifi control only. When I try to switch to remote in device settings it times out with the message 'Deviceld do not exist'
Have tried setting up using an android tablet as well but with the same results, at n
o point in the set up was the option for remote operation give
n. I've not seen this mentioned, looking for somthing that works reliably and before and nothing I've tried seems to make any difference.

Ok, gave up and sent it back - not impressed at all, seems that it's a lucky dip whether you get a fully working unit or not and at the price I don't think they worth it.
