I just connected HS110 with KASA app on android, everything goes fine and setup completed.

When I check on the Watt usage, it show me the "Current Power" value is 28314W usage just for a table fan!

Is it the plug is having issue and should I return it to the seller?

Having same problem with my HS110. Current power value is 28140W and also runtime values can't be trusted. Have it running 24h but showing average 20hrs.

I have the same issue. I've had it two days and it started out saying my monitor was using 28144 watts. And I've unplugged it and tried other things to get it to read correctly.

TP Link, you got a fix for this???

Hi there,

What's the Version of the HS110 and the Kasa app? Did you try hard reset the HS110?

The latest firmware of HS110 is 1.1.2, try update the firmware on the APP.

The app begs to differ. It reports 0 available updates for Smart Plugs.

I guess I'll return it.

@vieldcs

I have the same problem with incorrect readings on the HS110.

I tried visiting you link to reach out to the support team but the links are all leading nowhere (and they try to blame Covid-19).

My HS110's hardware is ver. 4.0 and I am on firmware 1.0.4 (no update is showing up in the app).

I have another HS110 like the one above (4.0 and 1.0.4) and the values are showing correctly.

What should I do? Maybe you should push the firmware update to Europe? I live in Greece.
