This looks really great.

Does it work with on an Amazon Fire tablet? Specifically, the Fire 10.1 HD tablet?

If not, why not?

I can't find the TAPO app in the Amazon app-store, but then there are a lot of apps which run perfectly well on Amazon Fire tablets which aren't listed in the Amazon app-store...

Do we have to side-load the TAPO app to have it running on an Amazon Fire tablet?

Please advise.

@Customer0  Tapo app Android version is released through the Google Play Store. You may download the Google Play Store on your device first, then get the Tapo app from there.

Hi @Wayne-TP

Amazon's own-brand Android-based tablets don't have the Google Play store installed, they use Amazon's own app-store instead - as I'm sure you must know already.

Why isn't the Tapo app available from the Amazon app-store?

Does the app run OK on Amazon's own-brand Android-based tablets?

If it does work, can the Tapo app be added to the Amazon app-store, please?

If it doesn't work properly, can the app be made to be compatible?

I imagine that Amazon is probably TP Link's leading third-party seller of Tapo hardware around The World, so to not support Amazon's Android-based tablets seems like an odd commercial choice for TP Link.
