I had this NC450 working flawlessly through my wifi. Using the android TP Camera app.

Then, yesterday I was prompted to upgrade it´s firmware. So I did.

 

After that I briefly got it to work, and then not. It would just respond "initiating" or the rotating loading symbol, I could not access live streaming or it´s settings.

I have now made a factory reset and the camera can be found using the app (or the PC desktop app) but I cannot carry through with the setup, it will not accept the default password or any that I used before. 

Made more factory resets and tried wifi and ethernet. Can´t take control of it anymore.

 

Any of you out there who experience problems after upgrading to fw 5.0?

I have the same problem. I only can view nc 450 by IPhone.

SAME here.

 

Having two NC450 2.0, pretty much IDENTICAL configurations EXCEPT for firmware version...

 

- One with 1.4.1 build 180716

- The other with 1.5.0 build 181022

 

Both cameras used to work flawlessly, now the one with the latest firmware is unusable with tpCamera 3.1.7 (Android, latest version as of Dec. 18).

 

Strangely, camera works with TP-Link Cloud and web-based management app... but NOT with tpCamera. Weird, uh ?

 

Sooo... maybe the camera isn't the problem, the app is ? Also, in web-based management app, HTTP port can't be set anymore, it's HTTPS only. Shouldn't be an issue, unless tpCamera is using HTTPS somewhere within the mobile app ?

 

Fix this. Now. Please smiley

Hello.

Same problem.

I uninstalled, reinstalled the app (Android), etc..Untrgistrted the camera and now, the application gets stuck  when registering the camera's admin password...

Ugyanaz a probléma,a jelszot az alapértélmezetett nem fogadja el! help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
