Hello, why is there still no android widget?
Why I must unlock the phone, launch the app and scenes.
It would be very useful to be able to change the scenes without opening the app to configure my cameras (home, leaving, etc.)

I use Tapo devices to automate a few lights at home. I'm thinking of getting new devices to control more lights and devices, and here it would be really great if I would be able to control these devices or scenarios from the home screen of my android phone.

I just received 4 cameras and 4 smart plugs from Amazon and realised the Android version does not support widgets. I had assumed this was possible based on this article, which, although it says "on iOS devices", it doesn't explicitly say this feature is not supported by the Android version. I have 30 days to return the products. Unless TP-Link replies here promising to implement this in the near future, I will look for something else.

Hi, I now have widgets in the app!  I'm in the beta program so might be worth signing up if they are not in the released app.  They have the same functionality as the Kasa widgets.  And the Tapo app sites ask my Kasa devices so only need the one app, in theory at least
