In Germany you are not allowed to point your camera to

public areas / neighborhood. That’s why you are not allowed to enable this feature here, because you cannot ensure the camera is filming the neighbors (which is definitely not the intention).

 

This feature is definitely profitable, because you can see that many people want it.

 

Don’t get me wrong but as a software developer I can’t imagine limiting a simple parameter is so extremely time consuming to implement

Would also really like to see this feature added. Simply setting horizontal/vertical edges/limits for automatic tracking. I'd really like to use automatic tracking, but as of now it's not possible to use this legally, in compliance with GDPR.

 

Also on the same topic, it would be useful if I could decide whether the camera pans or tilts first as it changes scenes in patrol mode. By default the camera pans first, but that can  expose areas I don't want to/am allowed to record.
