I have 4 plugs and could only get 1 out of the 4 to connect to my WiFi, and I struggled with the one that is now connected. 

I have many, so I am not new at this, but these have Apple Homekit, and when going through setup, it asks if I want to connect to Homekit and WiFi. I can only select WiFi and Homekit or cancel. I tried both. I keep getting the spinny circle, and it never connects. Does anyone have any ideas? 

I do see it connect to my WiFi, but that is when it is looking for the home kit to connect to.
