P110 away mode issues

Hi,
Picked up a 4 pack of P110's on Amazon for the sole purpose of using Away Mode to control lights when I'm away from home.
All that happens is the lights stay on all the time.
Tried resetting a couple of plugs just to see and no joy.
Anyone have any suggestions?

Try to set a short period, like 2mins, 5mins, monitor whether the away mode takes effect in this case.

The away mode doesn't work even when a short time is set? Does the schedule work?
What's the time zone of the smart plug (Tapo app, smart plug Device Settings page > Device Info.)? Share a screenshot here.
