Bug : Tapo H200 Hub, not aligning partition when formating the micro sd
This may impact all Tapo devices, I had not tested, on SD storage the partition should be aligned and start at sector 2048, the H200 do create the fat32 partition starting at sector 0 🤔🤨😮 this can lead to slow file manipulation and even errors when manupulating the files on the SD on certain conditions...and also this wear the SD more quickly.
On my H200 the issue was unable to delete recorded video other than format...
I backed SD content, I then created a clean proper partition on linux and reformat it by assigning the same GUID/UUID with (not sure if its required)
mkfs.vfat -i A1B2C3D4 /dev/sdX1
And made sure the partition start at sector 2048 (correctly aligned) then I copied back the SD content and put it back to the H200, as of now it works better... wait and see on the long run.
I am using a Samsung SD 64 GB U10
Any way partition aligment is not handled as it should be, you should by default start the partition at sector 2048
Thanks
