Hardware Version: V12
Firmware Version: 1.2.10

Hi everyone. 

 

One P100 I bought 3 years ago and had not used until recently, does not update firmware, and as a result, many features are but available. 

 

Hardware is 1.20

Current default firmware is 1.2.10

 

It is not a network issue. Tried many different networks. Tried hotspot. Nothing changes. 

 

After finishing setup, it checks for newer firmware version, and I get the message that the device is up to date(which is obviously not the case).

Tapo device firmware updates are managed through the app. Since your device’s hardware and software versions are outdated, and if the app currently cannot detect the newer firmwares, we can only recommend contacting the support team to check whether they have any additional suggestions. Contact Technical Support
