You cannot set IPSec Client, but you can set L2TP client and it should do the job. I am using it to connect to my company VPN.

No, you do not need HW controller. You can use software controller. Just install and run - it should open the web browser.

@nixcamic I do not think so, because of HW controllers OC200 and OC300 are also linux based.
