Hello All.

I recently purchased the RE500 and came to realize that the signal from my modem/router was pretty bad and not worth extending, even though I am running 1 gig internet. My next solution was to run an ethernet cable from my modem to the range extender by switching it to Access Point mode. I am able to login in to the management site for the RE500 when the unit is reset and switch to Access Point mode via the Management Site, but after the RE500 reboots, I can no longer access the management site. I am able to connect to both the 2.4ghz and the 5.0ghz wifi signals... but when I try to login to the Management Site it redirects me to "Trying to Configure the Range Extender?"

Any help would be appreciated.

This is the range extender I purchased:

TP-Link AC1900 Dual Band Wi-Fi Range Extender w/ Gigabit Ethernet Port, Extends WiFi to Smart Home & Alexa Devices, 3x3 MU-MIMO (RE500)

TP-Link AC1900 Dual Band Wi-Fi Range Extender w/ Gigabit Ethernet Port, Extends WiFi to Smart Home & Alexa Devices, 3x3 MU-MIMO (RE500)

I figured out what the issue was. When I rebooted the Extender, I plugged in the ethernet cable to the port on the extender. This prevented me from accessing the management page.
