Hello all,
I just registered on this forum to try and get some help with this issue. I got this Powerline adapter kit today, and I've spent the last 5 hours or so trying to get them to connect to the internet, it's all been one huge fail so far. I've been googling this problem for hours, trying every fix I came across including some from these very forums/

One AV200 is in my room, the other is down the hall right next to the modem. They pair just fine but just to be safe I also paired them in the same room before moving this one back to my room.

All 3 LED's are lit.

Tried messing around with the Powerline Utility. For some reason the Network keeps showing as Unknown. I click on use default (HomePlugAV) but when I apply it and switch tabs/minimize the window it just goes back to Unknown. Also whenever I try giving it a custom Network name, the Powerline LED turns off and I have to go pair them again, which sets the Network back to Unknown when I pull back up Powerline Utility.

Tried powering the modem off, waiting for a bit then powering it back on

Confirmed DHCP is enabled on the router (when I try the cmd prompt to renew ip it throws an error - unable to reach DHCP, timed out)

Tried changing the Ethernet adapter settings (manual IP and DNS, auto IP amd DNS)

Tried every cmd prompt I've found online (flushing dns, renewing ip, etc)

I updated the firmware

Below is what I get from ipconfig:

Just be honest, did I just waste my money on these? It's a struggle to get WiFi in my room. I've had to use a WiFi extender which is giving me problems now. Powerline was supposed to be my fix because I didn't want to run an ethernet cable across the stairs and down the hallway to my room.

Thanks for any help

The lights and the IP address are quite normal.
It seems your router has IPv6 provided. How about turning off IPv6 on the router to have a test?

Hi, thanks for your reply,

My router's interface only shows me settings for ipv4, nothing for ipv6.
I disabled it in my Ethernet Adapter Properties to see if that changed anything, didn't help.

Make sure the computer is working ok when plugged directly to the router with an Ethernet cable, or using another laptop.
Change the network name of both adapters to the same one on the powerline utility.
Plug the adapters both into wall socket, away from other electrical appliances or power adapters.

Thanks for your help Uutommi, I've solved it.
The problem was that apparently only one port on my router was enabled.

Well, that really good to know. sometime the problem is fixed just by restarting the Windows computer.
