Traditional fan switches have a way to set the fan speed. You set the fan to max and then the switch controls speed. I think this is a definite area where they could sell a ton of switches as there is a hole in the offerings from other companies.

"None" as in there are no plans to ever develop this? Why is that? There is clearly a demand. Thanks.

No there is not, every product request is sent to our developers for consideration. Yes there is a demand and as more users request it gives us more information to present, but that does not guarantee anything.

Here to keep this thread alive since I too would like a fan/light variable switch.

@ZioJim I've been requesting from TP-Link a ceiling fan wifi switch and a garage wifi switch for years and it falls on deaf ears. TP-Link makes quality products but they limit themselves. They need to get out of the router business and focus strictly on smart home devices. I would love to see a bedside wifi button that controls a group of TP-Link devices (lights and plugs) throughout the house. One click turns on all the wifi lights in the house.

@Tony

I really want a ceiling fan switch too!!! I have tried other brands for light switches and pulled them all out and replaced with TP-Link.  I haven't found anyone else that integrates with Alexa as good it was worth the cost to change over.  HOWEVER I now have to use one of the brands I don't like for my ceiling fan and it sucks!
