I have the HS103P3

 

I have a woods power strip that has a master plug, so when master turns on all devices plugged into strip turn on and visa versa when turned off. So I plugged the smart plug into the master and TV plugged into smart plug....but when I tell alexa to turn on TV everything else turns on but the TV. Is it not giving enough power to the TV to turn it on?? Or??

after Alexa turns on the smartplug try turning the tv on using it's remote.

Try leaving the TV on and turning the smartplug off, wait a minute then turn the smartplug on and see if the tv is on.
