I am trying to enable a 5GHz based network for some older devices wich support onlt 2.4GHz WiFi networks.

Can the RE200 handle this task?

SO far when I configured the RE200 with the a 5GHz host network only (no 2.4GHz host network) and enabled the extender networks on 2.4GHz and 5GHz i was able to gain internet access on 5GHZ extended network only. Access the internet with the extended 2.4GHz was not possible.

Any feedback is appriciated.
