TP Link should produce a battery powered motion detector that links to the Kasa App.  This motion detector could "trigger" smart actions, like turn on a light for 5 minutes, or start a programmed scene.  In the motion detector setup, you could set parameters such as "only work from Sundown to Daybreak, or from 10:00 pm to 5:00 am. 

This would be so helpful for a variety of TP Link products, including cameras.
