Tether app needs option to display device web IP address
The app is great. Only suggestion is there needs to be a way in the app so display the web IP address for access to device when not using app

If you go to "Tools" on the bottom right of the Tether app, then "Internet Connection", you will see your WAN information. The IP address is what you would use to get to the router. However, you will need to enable remote management by using a browser first.
Alternatively you can set up the TP-Link DDNS address rather then needing to use a IP address.

There is no Internet Option under Tools.
I'm using Android App maybe you are referring to the iPhone version.

OK. I see the difference now. We are using the same app but yours is a Mesh router. Mine is a WiFi Extender. The WiFi Extender has a web admin interface, but you can't see its IP address from inside the APP. I had to go to my main router to figure out the IP address it was assigned.
So, I will refine my request. The Tether App needs to show the admin web interface for WiFi Extenders similar to how it does for Mesh Routers.

Hello. I am using this app and is great. You can do multiple things with this. One issue. In Internet Connection is not showing me the external IP... I am using PPPoE Connection. I installed this app for that..Is there any way to see that external ip using this app ? Thanks

As you are looking at the main Tether screen, tap on the status icon which is the globe. That should show all the WAN connection information.

@KevinKy Thanks for quick reply. In that globe, image (status), if you're using PPPoE connection, this app is not showing you nothing but connection type, username and password. All I wanted to do with this app was to find out the external ip because my internet provider (DIGI -RCS-RDS) is changing that external ip everytime you connect. And I want to connect to my raspberry pi using a designated port . It's a pain to call my wife to write down in a google what's my ip every time I want to connect to that router... Basically this app is only to restart router when 2.4 wireless fails. Please upgrade this app because I don't want to change my router :))
