Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: 1.1.6 Build 20180412

My MacBook has trouble connecting . Wireless Diagnostics says the device has a country code of CA, which conflicts with my US network. 
   Is there a way to reset the RE200 to a US code?

The extender may have came from Canada rather then the US. The box sticker label will show what country it should have been in.

 

Try changing the routers wireless channel to 11, once that has been saved unplug the RE200 and plug it back in. Once the RE200 is up, try to connect again.
