In this thread https://community.tp-link.com/us/home/forum/topic/174526 there seems to be confirmation that the RE450 has a 16-concurrent user limit on the 2.4GHz channel. I've just recently started coming up against that limit, and I wanted to upgrade.

The RE650 looks good - but does it have the same concurrent user limit as the RE450?

The max clients you can connect is 32 for the 2.4GHz and 32 for the 5GHz. Please note the more clients that are connected the more performance will be affected.

just updated my Re650 to the latest firmware build 20201112 and it looks like my extender is now limited to 16 concurrent on the 2.4 channel.  Can anyone else confirm this?
