I have an off the grid situation where I need an ethernet port to plug in a monitor for my solar controlers. I have a Verizon Jet Pack or Hot Spot. Will the Range extender pick up the wireless signal from this device so that I can plug the ethernet connection into the range extender?

As long as there is no captive portal that needs credentials then it should work fine.

In other words, if you internet by just connecting to and using the wireless password like a typical home router then that would be fine.
